A Message From the Principalby Patty Jackson Good morning, Lovejoy Families, I hope you are enjoying the sunshine after yesterday’s stormy weather. I really appreciate these warm, sunny days more than ever before. We’ve had such unusual weather these past few months. Troop 1065 is Making a Difference Tomorrow, Friday, is the last day for the Girl Scout Troop 1065 collections of toiletries such as hand sanitizer, toothpaste, paper towels, and toilet paper, etc. The girls will deliver items collected to the Collin County Samaritan Inn. We do have boxes about the building should you want to donate items this evening when attending open house. Thanks, in advance, for supporting our Lovejoy Girl Scouts! Spring and Group Picture Day is Approaching Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, March 26th. Every child will have a spring picture taken, with the proof being sent home in a few weeks. Should you choose to purchase pictures, you’ll be able to choose your favorite background. Also, class group pictures will be taken as well. Payment is due when this picture is taken. Be sure to check your child’s Thursday Folder for picture information and the order form. Open House, Book Fair, and Bake Tonight is our 2009-2010 Open House. We are excited about seeing each and every one of you. While parking can be challenging, a reminder that there is overflow parking in the Red Building parking lot north of us as well as in the church lot next door. You might enjoy the walk with this beautiful weather. Times for open house are listed below but if the assigned time doesn’t work with your schedule, you are certainly welcome to make adjustments to accommodate your availability.
